New in DataStudio 1.9.8

• A Macintosh Universal Binary version is now available. This version requires MacOS X 10.4 or later and is recommended for both Intel and PowerPC Macs. The Carbon (non-Universal Binary) version is maintained for customers with Macs runing MacOS from 9.2.2 up to 10.3.
• Sensor choices and calibrations are now included for selected Vernier sensors when using ScienceWorkshop interfaces or the PASPORT Analog Adapter.
• Detailed release notes and unreleased DataStudio patches.

New in GLX Update 1.4

• The table screen export dialog now offers enhanced GPS data export which includes high-resolution Lat/Long and choice of popular GIS formats.
• The settings screen time setup dialog now allows setting a time zone for the GLX. This is used to export universal time information for GPS sensor data.
• The graph display now has a coordinate marker tool to allow entry of an XY coordinate for comparison with XY data. (Useful for GeoCaching with the GPS sensor.)
• Sensor choices and calibrations are now included for selected Vernier sensors when using the PASPORT Analog Adapter with the GLX.
• Detailed release notes and instructions for updating your GLX firmware from a USB flash drive.

License Key Notes

Have your license key(s) available to enter the first time you run DataStudio, or click the lite/demo buttons if you have not purchased a DataStudio or WAVEPORT license.

DataStudio Demo/Lite Notes

DataStudio Lite requires no license key and offers complete access to the full DataStudio feature set for 90 days after installation. After 90 days, DataStudio will continue to work with the reduced "Lite" feature set. You can enter a purchased license key (choose "Change License Key" from the DataStudio "Help" menu) to permanently enable the full feature set. The WAVEPORT trial period is 30 days.
