From the very cold (liquid nitrogen) to the very hot (flame), our Type-K Temperature Sensor has a wide enough range (–200 to 1000 °C) to measure it all. The rugged sensing element is a standard Type-K Thermocouple with high temperature insulation. The low thermal mass of the sensor means a fast response time. The long probe length enables measurements in hard-to-reach places.

The PASPORT Type-K 4-Port Temperature Sensor works with up to four Type-K Thermocouple Probes and a PASPORT interface to collect multiple streams of temperature data at up to 250 samples per second per channel. Two Type-K thermocouple probes are included with PS-2127.

The tip of the Type-K Thermocouple Probe has a temperature range between -200°C and +1000°C. However, the insulation material that covers all but the tip of the probe has a maximum temperature of +482°C. Use the probe to measure high temperatures such as those in a candle flame while keeping the insulation out of the flame.

The sensor box accepts any Type-K thermocouple, such as the CI-6536 High Temperature Type-K Thermocouple Probe. The High Temperature Type-K Thermocouple Probe is housed in a 30.5 cm (12”) Inconel metal cover (maximum temperature = +1148°C). Use this probe for an open flame or other high temperature measurements.

Software allows for simultaneous calibration of up to four Type-K thermocouple probes attached to one four port Type-K thermocouple sensor.
